TIDAK.

         Kali ini saya hanya akan bertanya, atau lebih tepatnya meminta saran. Yah, saran bagaimana caranya bilang TIDAK? Susah. Susah sekali. Saya juga tidak mengerti kenapa kata penolakkan itu sulit sekali saya ucapkan. Bagi mereka yang sering menggunakan kata itu mungkin tidak akan punya kesulitan sama sekali. Ini salah satu kesulitan saya; saya jarang dan hampir tidak pernah dan tidak mau mengatakan TIDAK. Aneh memang. Kalau tidak aneh, bukan saya berarti.

            Menurut saya, bagian tersulitnya ketika melihat raut wajah mereka ketika meminta sesuatu. Duuuhhh. Atau pun via telp, saya sudah bisa membayangkan raut wajah mereka seperti apa saat meminta. Imajinatif bukan? Akkhh! Menyebalkan. Akan sulit jika itu sudah tersaji di depan mata saya, sulit untuk menolaknya. Saya sepertinya tergolong orang yang bodoh untuk hal yang satu ini.

            Setelah saya ‘iyakan’ rasa penyesalan pun ada, dan ini sering terjadi. Kenapa saya menyesal? Karena pada akhirnya saya sadar, mereka tidak benar-benar pantas untuk mendapatkan kata ‘iya’. Saya bisa selunak bubur bahkan lebih, kepada orang lain (terutama orang yang saya sayang). Namun, cendrung lebih keras pada diri sendiri. Mereka yang tau bagaimana saya, hanya geleng kepala. Bukan karena mereka sedang mendengarkan lagi party -_-

            Saya bingung dengan sifat saya sendiri. Sebenarnya apa yang saya lakukan? Membiarkan mereka menginjak-injak saya? Ataukah memberi jalan pada mereka untuk tumbuh menjadi anak yang manja jauh dari sebelumnya? Dan kemudian akan menyalahkan diri sendiri atas ketidaksanggupan diri sendiri dalam mengatakan ‘tidak’.

            Sering sekali saya menyalahkan diri saya. Itu membuat saya sulit untuk tidur di malam hari. Tentu. Saya ini Insomnia akut. Stadium akhir. Saya terjaga saat malam, dan memilih untuk tidur di siang hari. Kalau yang ini saya bisa jelaskan, entah akan masuk logika kalian atau tidak. Duduk dan baca sajalah, jangan berkomentar kalau belum selesai membaca. Oke.

            Jadi, saya memilih untuk terjaga di malam hari dan tidur di waktu siang dikarena muak. Mungkin juga sih. Hahaha. Saya bosan menyalahkan diri saya sendiri yang tidak pernah benar-benar menolak mereka. Ketika malam saya memikirkannya dan itu membuat saya sulit untuk tidur, kebanyakan melamun. Dan ketika siang hari saya tertidur, alasannya bukan karena saya mengantuk tidak tidur semalaman. Saat siang saya lebih memilih untuk lari. Aneh kan? Belum pernahkah kalian tau ada yang tidur di siang hari hanya untuk lari dari masalah.

Kenapa tidak bunuh diri? Hahaha itu terlalu mainstream. Apa jaminannya kalau saya bunuh diri saya tidak akan memikirkan kebodohan saya? Apa kalian bisa menjaminnya? Hahaha. Alasan saya tidak  bunuh diri juga karena setelah kematian ada kehidupan abadi yang menanti. Kehidupan lain? Yah. Kehidupan dimana kita semua akan mempertanggungjawabkan semuanya. Dan tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa saya akan tetap memikirkannya. Mungkin lebih parah. Yah karena saya ini pemikir.

Bukan pemikir seperti para penemu hebat yang terkenal itu. Seperti yang sudah saya bilang sebelumnya, saya ini suka berpikir. Hal kecil pun akan jadi bahan pemikiran saya. Buang-buang waktu memang, tapi saya lebih memilih membuang waktu saya daripada harus membuang pikiran ini. Ini sulit, kawan. Andai kalian bisa rasa apa yang saya rasakan. Mungkin kita bisa share J

Penolakan itu buruk? Mungkin. Lalu bagaimana dengan saya? Tidak ada yang benar-benar bertanya bagaimana perasaan saya. Ah sudahlah -_- ini bukan ajang untuk mengeluh. Saya hanya ingin bertanya bagaimana caranya untuk mengatakan TIDAK? Saya kesulitan dengan yang satu ini. Tolong beritahu aku!

Perantau.

            Tidak ada yang lebih nyaman daripada Rumah. Ini tahun ketiga dimana saya tidak ada di tengah-tengah keluarga saat sahur pertama. Tentu saja saya tidak sendiri. Teman-teman saya lainnya yang berada jauh dari rumah pasti sudah merasakan hal yang sama. Terkadang juga saya berpikir betapa beruntungnya teman-teman saya yang tidak perlu repot-repot mencari kos-kosan atau kontrakan untuk ditinggali. Bukan. Saya bukan mau mengeluhkan jalan yang saya pilih. Saya hanya ingin bercerita apa yang saya atau para perantau lain rasakan saat jauh dari rumah.

            Saya tau resiko dari jalan yang saya pilih. Untuk itu saya harus mempersiapkan diri, suka – tidak suka harus tetap saya hadapi. Bisa dibilang cobaan hidup juga. Hahaha. Tapi banyak yang saya dapatkan saat jauh dari rumah. Pelajaran berharga tentang hidup. Saya tiak tau dengan yang lain, tapi saya memetik banyak pelajaran disini.

            Banyak teman yang saya jumpai disini dari berbagai daerah; entah dari penduduk asli sini atau pun sama-sama perantau. Pengalaman adalah guru terbaik. Itu pepatah yang sekiranya tepat untuk saya. Saya pernah mengartikan ‘jauh dari rumah’ sebagai sebuah kebebasan dan menggunakan ‘status’ itu untuk melakukan hal-hal yang tidak bermanfaat. Itulah kenapa saya tidak pernag berani membicarakan soal kampus ketika pulang.

             Sampai suatu hari, entah ilham dari mana membuat saya membuka mata selebar mungkin. Saya sama sekali tidak menyesal. Bukan karena saya terlalu sombong untuk itu, tapi coba kalian pikirkan lagi; apakah semuanya akan kembali menjadi baik jika saya menyesalinya? Tentu tidak. Itu hanya buang-buang waktu. Seperti yang saya bilang sebelumnya, saya ini suka berpikir. Mungkin lebih tepatnya terlalu banyak berpikir. Segala sesuatu yang menurut mereka tak perlu saya pikirkan, tetap saja saya memikirkannya.

            Dari situlah perlahan saya mulai berniat memperbaiki diri. Membosankan jika terus-terusan menjadi diri anda yang cuman segitu-segitu saja. Pernahkah kalian berpikir akan hal itu? Bukan penampilan yang saya maksut -_- tetapi sifat kalian! Sifat kalian yang menentukan tindakan kalian sendiri. Mungkin belum sekarang. Tapi nanti kalian sendiri akan memikirkannya. Dan tidak ada salahnya jika dicoba. Sebelum terlambat.

            Oke, kembali ke topik awal. Saya ini perantau yang sudah hampir gila menunggu libur untuk segera pulang. Saya ulangi : TIDAK ADA YANG LEBIH NYAMAN DARIPADA RUMAH ! TIDAK ADA ! kalian boleh mencari dan memukul saya jika pernyataan saya salah atau berlebihan. Tapi pastikan kalian bukan perantau seperti saya.

            Dan apa yang dipikirkan oleh perantau-perantau senior sebelum saya atau teman-teman saya lainnya? Kami ingin membawa hasil terbaik ketika pulang. Yah, ini terdengar kuno. Saya tau. Tapi ini juga yang akan di setujui setiap perantau atau para calon perantau. Sekedar saran, jangan juga mematok harga mati pada kata HARUS. Kalian salah jika kalian memakai kata itu dalam menjadi seorang perantau. Tapi, jika kalian seorang yang pekerja keras itu tidak akan jadi masalah. Yang akan jadi masalah jika itu terjadi pada para perantau seperti saya ini. Kata itu terlalu memaksa, dan itu akan membuat hidup kita terbebani.

            Santai sajalah, sekalipun kalian sudah di teror oleh petuah dari orang tua kalian tetap santai dan jalani yang terbaik dari kalian. Pasang diseluruh penjuru kamar kalian tujuan kalian menjadi seorang perantau. Ingat ! jangan gunakan kata HARUS. Itu kata keramat yang boleh digunakan pada kalimat-kalimat terdesak dalam hidup kalian. Selain itu, jangan coba gunakan. Itu hanya membuat kalian gila. Bernafaslah sebagai mana kalian harus bernafas. Jangan terjebak dengan kesenangan sesaat. Ingat tujuan kalian ! Semangat ! Bawa pulang yang terbaik dari kalian ! J

Mau jadi Apa?

            Yah, itu pertanyaan yang semua orang ajukan pada saya. Sebagian besar. Tapi di balik pertanyaan mereka sendiri itu, mereka berasumsi kalau saya akan menjadi seorang guru. Ok. Mungkin bagi mereka begitu, but please… a teacher? You gotta be kidding me, right? Memang tidak ada salah menjadi seorang guru. Saya akui, itu adalah pekerjaan paling mulia. Serius. Tapi untuk orang seperti saya ini, pekerjaan sebagai guru itu bahkan tidak pernah terlintas sedikit pun di otak. Entahlah, mungkin karena saya lebih suka mendengar daripada berbicara panjang lebar memberi penjelasan.

            Saya seorang mahasiswi di salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di Jawa Barat. Bukan! Bukan Unversitas Indonesia yang saya maksut. Gunadarma. Yah, di situlah saya mengenyam pendidikan tingkat tinggi ini. Dan Sastra Inggris adalah jurusan yang akhirnya saya pilih daripada jurusan arsitek. Jangan di tanya kenapa! Saat saya pertama kali di terima di Gunadarma, ada 2 jurusan yang harus saya pilih salah satunya. Saya pun menelpon ayah saya. Percakapan biasa. Tapi 1 pertanyaan yang membuyarkan pikiranku untuk mengambil jurusan arsitek; ‘Memangnya kamu bisa gambar?’. Itulah pertanyaan yang di ajukan oleh ayah.

            Dan pertanyaan ayah membuat saya hampir tidak percaya saya berada di tengah-tengah mahasiswa/mahasiswi Sastra 01 lainnya. Saya angkatan 2011 yang saat ini sedang berjuang mati-matian menghadapi PI (Penulisan Ilmiah). Ah, ini tidak seburuk itu. Percayalah. Untuk anak yang punya tingkat pemikiran tinggi (re: overthingking) seperi saya, jurusan Sastra sangat cocok. Terserah kalian mau artikan seperti apa otak saya ini.

            Pertama kali masuk Sastra saya mulai berpikir akan jadi seperti apa nantinya. Karena belum dapat jawaban yang pas untuk itu, saya putuskan untuk jalani saja. Tentu saja jalani dengan penuh keluhan, tanda tanya besar di otak, sesekali mengumpat, dan lainnya. Apa yang kalian pikirkan? Memangnya kalian pikir saya ini kutu buku? Anak baik-baik yang akan menjadi guru? Jika kalian berpikir saya adalah salah satu anak yang ‘baik’, lebih baik buang jauh-jauh pikiran seperti itu, sebelum kau di telan sendiri oleh kata-katamu. Jangan terlalu serius. Saya bercanda.

            Setelah 3 tahun kuliah dan belajar di Sastra dengan ipk pas-pasan (bahkan kurang dari pas-pasan) mempertajam pemikiran saya untuk jauh lebih kritis. Saya suka belajar tentang kebudayaan, apalagi kebudayaan asing yang harus saya pelajari. Itu memberi tantangan berbeda, dan saya suka tantangan ini. Kebudayaan membuat saya lebih penasaran tentang kelakuan manusia. Saya rasa ini pas dengan saya, dan mungkin inilah takdir saya. Tapi saya tidak ingin terburu-buru mengambil keputusan. Saya masih ingin melihat potensi apa yang akan mengejutkan saya lagi nanti.

            Dan mungkin itu juga alasan kenapa saya tidak mau menjadi guru, selain ipk saya yang tidak pantas menjadi guru, saya lebih suka mencari tau lebih banyak tentang kebudayaan, sastra dan bidang-bidang yang termasuk di dalamnya. Itu menyenangkan kawan. Saya tidak pernah menyesal untuk mengambil jurusan ini.

            Hanya sekedar saran untuk kalian, jika kalian masih bingung dengan ‘sesuatu’ yang menurut kalian sulit untuk diputuskan: Jalani Saja. Kalian tidak akan pernah tau apa yang akan terjadi besok. Jalani dengan cara apapun yang kalian mau, itu akan lebih berhasil dibandingkan kalian harus sok mengikuti keinginan orang tua kalian, tapi kalian tidak menikmatinya sama sekali. Kalian berhak untuk menentukan jalan kalian. Jika sudah terlanjur mengikuti jalur dari orang tua, berusahalah untuk tetap jalani itu dengan gayamu sendiri. Sesuatu yang dapat kita nikmati dengan gaya kita sendiri akan lebih menyenangkan dibandingkan Ice Cream Vanilla. J

Jazz Passay; Designer Indonesia.

Jazz Pasay dikenal sebagai perancang busana yang memiliki gaya fashion yang unik . Bakat luar biasa dalam menggabungkan estetika fashion tinggi dengan kostum teater menghasilkan playful , namun elegan desain segar & seksi. Tanpa latar belakang pendidikan desain busana formal, karir Pasay dimulai pada tahun 1994 ketika ia bergabung dengan Asosiasi Perancang Pengusaha Mode Indonesia ( APPMI ) . Ini sebuah asosiasi yang mengumpulkan semua perancang busana dan orang-orang yang melakukan bisnis di industri fashion Indonesia. Alih-alih hanya membuat fashion tinggi, Jazz menggabungkan semua hal favorit dalam hidupnya, seperti film, drama, buku komik, penari dan lukisan, ke dalam desain nya. Akibatnya, semua gaya yang lucu, intrik, elegan, seksi, cahaya, tapi namun elegan dan canggih.

Jazz Pasay memiliki kriteria seni yang tinggi. Disamping menjadi seorang designer, dia juga seorang seniman yang handal, beberapa karyanya pun sudah mendunia. Padahal beliau adalah seorang lulusan FK UI tahun 1982. Dengan berbagai talenta  yang dia miliki, ia ingin menjadi seorang yang benar-benar berguna bagi orang-orang disekitarnya maupun orang lain.

Pada tahun 2004, ia menciptakan SAMAR kostum & luar, garis kedua , sebuah bisnis penyewaan kostum yang menyediakan kostum untuk disewa . Perusahaan ini , sekarang adalah sukses besar di Indonesia , khususnya di Jakarta . Semua stasiun televisi nasional, perusahaan, rumah produksi, dan sektor swasta menggunakan SAMAR sebagai bagian dari bisnis mereka. Tidak hanya kostum , tapi SAMAR juga menyediakan properti, wig, dan make up. Ini menjadi seperti one stop shopping bagi orang-orang yang membutuhkan lemari 

Identitas Budaya : Stuart Hall

Stuart Hall membahas mengenai diskusi Identitas Budaya dan diaspora dengan diskusi munculnya bioskop baru di Karibia yang dikenal sebagai Third Cinema. Bentuk baru dari bioskop ini dianggap sebagai representasi visual dari Afro-Karibia, subyek "hitam" dari diaspora dari barat, subyek kolonial baru. Sebagai titik awal, Hall menggunakan diskusi ini dan membahas isu-isu identitas, praktek-praktek budaya, dan produksi budayanya juga.

Third Cinema dianggap sebagai representasi visual dari Afro-Karibia dalam konteks post kolonial. Dalam media visual ini "orang kulit hitam" yang direpresentasikan sebagai subyek post kolonial baru. Sangat sering identitas direpresentasikan sebagai produk jadi. Hall berpendapat bahwa alih-alih mempertimbangkan identitas budaya sebagai produk jadi, kita harus memikirkannya sebagai produksi yang tidak pernah selesai dan selalu dalam proses.

Seperti kebudayaan yang dijelaskan oleh Stuart Hall merupakan kebudayaan asing yang membaur dengan kebudayaan yang lainnya. Berdasarkan fakta- fakta yang ada, kami mendapatkan pengetahuan budaya tentang bagaimana menyatukan semua kebudayaan menjadi satu dalam suatu komunitas.

Dalam suatu komunitas tersebut, tidak hanya satu saja kebudayaan yang ada di situ pasti terdapat beberapa kebudayaan, lalu bagaimana kebudayaan yang berbeda itu membangun budaya baru yang mempunyai ciri khas dari komunitas itu sendiri. Yaitu dengan cara; saling berinteraksi, berbaur dan saling menghargai antar budaya. Karena untuk memahami suatu kebudayaan kita perlu memahami konteks masyarakat sebagai sebuah sistem terlebih dahulu. Seperti sistem sosial yang sangat kita perlukan dalam membangun sebuah komunitas, agar tidak terjadi kesalahpahaman ataupun kendala-kendala lainnya yang timbul dalam komunitas.

Myth.

According to Barthes, there are another sign (myth) in society which included by two-level tagging (denotation and connotation), to form a system of sign-signifier-signified, the sign will be a new marker which then has a second marker and form a new sign. When a sign which has connotations then evolved into meaning denotation, the meaning would be the denotation of the myth. This theory was advanced by Ferdinand de Saussure thoughts before.

Myth is a type of speech, everything that could be a myth as long as it is presented by a discourse. Literary work is definitely not a myth, but as an aesthetic form of the literary work is a manifestation of the myth itself (Barthes; 2004:152). Barthes claimed that every ideological sign is the result of two interconnected sign system.

And talk about myth we should to know about philosophy first. There are a relation between myth and philosophy, the philosophy which has function as analyze from what the myth had is. Both in terms of the story that the content contained in the mythology, characters and events. Philosophy as a way to filter a radical thought bizarre knowledge to explain again to the public. Correlation philosophy as a form of literary semiotics. Philosophy used to translate (a poetic sense) a myth of an area. Because the language of literature tends to use the language metaphor.

Greek Mythology.

Greek has wonderful historical heritage. Thru that way; an American novelist was release his first novel for teenager in 2005. Rick Riordan was began The Lightning Thief as a bedtime story for his son, and his son is his inspiring to write this novel. As a teacher in public and private middle school in the San Fransisco Bay Area and in Texas, he want to share his experience teach Greek Mythology. He hopefully he’d be able to get even more kids interested to read Greek Mythology.

Myth is a traditional story, which may describe the origins of the world and/or of a people. A myth is an attempt to explain mysteries, supernatural events, and cultural traditions. Sometimes sacred in nature, a myth can involve gods or other creatures. And, a myth represents reality in dramatic ways.

i have to explain about the myth, because in this book was told about the Mythology from Greece. Greek mythology speaks about the age of Gods, the age of God and men being friendly, and an age of heroes, where the presence of Gods had become limited. The Greek mythology is an essential part of Greek history, and also a part of religion for the Greeks. The Greeks took help of this mythology to talk about natural phenomenon, traditional rivalry and friendship, different cultures and they also found great pride in finding out about one’s ancestor, be it a mythological hero or God.

Greek mythology throws light on the origin of the world. It also has various accounts of the lives of many different gods, goddesses and mythological characters. Originally, the Greek mythology was in the poetic form, which has now been converted into literary forms.

Klinik Gigi Keluarga.

Pusat Kesehatan Gigi Keluarga Aisyah merupakan salah satu klinik yang menyediakan layanan pengobatan dan perawatan khususnya pada gigi. Pusat Kesehatan Gigi Keluarga Aisyah memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik dengan adanya 2 dokter yang beroperasi agar dengan mudah dan cepat dalam melayani pasien-pasiennya.

Seiring berjalannya waktu, pasien Pusat Kesehatan Gigi Keluarga Aisyah ini semakin meningkat. Meningkatnya pasien tidak sebanding dengan system pencatatan dan administrasi data yang ada pada Pusat Kesehatan Gigi Keluarga Aisyah. Hal ini dikarenakan semua system yang ada masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga sering terjadi inkonsistensi.

Sistem informasi dalam suatu organisasi dapat dikatakan sebagai suatu sistem yang menyediakan informasi bagi semua tingkatan dalam organisasi tersebut kapan saja diperlukan. Sistem ini menyimpan, mengambil, mengubah, mengolah dan mengkomunikasikan informasi yang diterima dengan menggunakan sistem informasi atau peralatan sistem lainnya.

Para mahasiswa sistem informasi mencoba untuk merancang sebuah system informasi pendaftaran dan pendataan pada Pusat Kesehatan Gigi Keluarga Aisyah, sehingga kegiatan administrasi yang terjadi  terkomputerisasi, yang nantinya akan mempermudah pekerjaan pendataan yang ada dan kinerja pegawai Pusat Kesehatan Gigi Keluarga Aisyah menjadi lebih efisien.

Media Informasi.

Media cetak merupakan bagian dari saluran informasi masyarakat, di samping media eletronik dan juga media digital. Di tengah dinamika masyarakat yang demikian pesat, media cetak dianggap sudah tertinggal dibandingkan dengan dua pesaingnya, yakni media elektronik dan media digital. Meski demikian, bukan berarti media cetak sudah tidak mampu meraih konsumen yang menantikan informasi yang dibawanya. Dari pengertian media cetak tersebut, nampak ada keunggulan media ini dibandingkan dua pesaingnya tersebut. Media cetak bisa menyampaikan sebuah informasi secara detail dan terperinci. Sementara untuk media elektronik dan digital, mereka lebih mengutamakan kecepatan informasi. Sehingga tak jarang informasi yang disampaikan lebih bersifat sepotong dan berulang-ulang. Pengertian Media Cetak - Jenis Media Cetak Secara umum, jenis media cetak yang ada di Indonesia diklasifikasikan menjadi delapan bagian. Pengklasifikasian tersebut, didasarkan pada waktu terbit media tersebut. Hal ini sesuai dengan apa yang dikeluarkan oleh Dirjen Pembinaan Pers dan Grafika, tentang pembagian media cetak dan pengklasifikasiannya. 

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, media informasi mengalami perkembangan juga. Kebutuhan manusia akan informasi juga semakin meningkat dan keadaan ekonomi di Indonesia semakin meningkat. Media mcetak mengalami perkembangan juga. Perusahaan media cetak mulai banyak yang berdiri dan melebarkan pemasarannya sampai pedesaan. Orang-orang yang berada jauh dari perkotaan dapat menikmati media cetak tersebut. Jenisnya pun menjadi bermacam-macam. Mulai dari koran harian sampai bulanan, tabloid, majalah, dan buletin. Informasi yang diberikan pun bukan hanya sekadar tentang politik atau ekonomi yang sedang terjadi, tapi juga ada bidang hiburannya yang tercantum dalam media tersebut. Konsumen media cetak ini pun bukannya hanya dari kalangan ekonomi mengah ke atas saja, tapi kalangan ekonomi mengengah ke bawah juga sudah dapat menikmati informasi dari media cetak tersebut. Harga yang terjangkau oleh semua kalangan tersebut, membuat semua kalangan mampu untuk membeli dan menikmati informasi yang diberikan oleh media tersebut. Jenis media cetak pun sudah bermacam-macam. Semua usia mempunyai media cetak masing-masing. Dari anak-anak sampai orang tua pun punya jenisnya. Media cetak berupa tabloid merupakan media informasi yang dikonsumsi oleh kalangan anak-anak dan remaja. Banyak tabloid anak dan remaja yang sudah beredar di seluruh Indonesia. Selain itu, majalah anak, remaja, dan dewasa juga sudah banyak beredar. Majalah dewasa juga banyak macamnya, sesuai dengan jenis informasi yang diberikan. Majalah dewasa yang beredar, seperti majalah fashion, majalah bisnis, majalah animasi, majalah games, majalah perfilman, majalah olah raga, majalah musik, dan masih banyak lagi majalah-majalah yang terbit di Indonesia. 

Education system.

Indonesia has the fourth largest education system in the world yet in a landmark education report of 50 nation Indonesia ranked last. For a country that has been experiencing a stable 5 to 6 percent annual economic growth rate and is classed as a middle income country by the World Bank, it is sad that it’s education system and thus it’s youth are not benefiting.

Moreover the Indonesian education system does not encourage independent, creative thought but focuses more on learning by rote. Discipline is strict, commendation little and many students are expelled for what in the western world we would consider slight misbehavior.

The future success of communities and thus nation depends on today’s youth and the education they access. Nowhere is education more important than the world’s poorest communities.

Indonesia clearly does not lack knowledge sector institutions and structures. The deficit lies in effective collaboration between stakeholders and shareholders with clear supply and demand relationships. These relationships will develop, as appreciation of capacity and awareness of needs is fostered. However, increased appreciation of capacity is dependent on quality, and so incentives to ensure quality research output is also critical.

The knowledge sector revitalisation program will function importantly to build quality of, appreciation in and collaboration between knowledge sector shareholders and stakeholders. This should result in a number of long-term research frameworks, which will synthesize multi-sourced evidence and input to ensure strong and effective development policies for the nation.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians 'The Lightning Thief'

Percy Jackson is teenager just like the other boys. But, he has dyslexic and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) which he got many troubles that he did not understand. Percy cannot behave himself and settle down to study. Twelve-year-old and he has been kicked out of a lot of boarding schools. So, the last thing he wants to do is get kicked out of Yancy Academy.

The adventures of Percy Jackson is beginning when he is on trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, things go horribly wrong when he, and his best friend Grover, are attacked by their pre-algebra teacher Mrs. Dodds transforms into one of the three Furies of Greek legend. Percy's Latin teacher, Mr. Brunner, throws to him a magic sword named Anaklusmos, or Riptide, and sends Mrs. Dodds to Tartarus. After the fight, Mr. Brunner is gone and acts like he was never there, and nobody remembers Mrs. Dodds and his best friend Grover Underwood acts strangely. It makes his horribly confused and thinks he’s hallucinating.

For a while Percy was believe that Mrs. Dodds had never existed. Till one night when the weather was going bad, and he did not on his good mood he think about everything strange that happen at the day. And most important that he think is his grades which go down than before. Then, he interrupted to asking Mr. Brunner to help his grades, at least he want to apologize about that. Percy was think he did not want to left the Yancy Academy, there were the things which made him miss in Yancy. When Percy was arrived at Mr. Brunner’s office, he heard about Grover and Mr. Brunner’s conservation about him, and it sounds they worry about him, he is in some kind of danger.

On the next day, after he heard a lot weird about him, he heads back to his mother’s Manhattan apartment, figuring he’ll be kicked out of school yet again. . He doesn’t mention to anyone that he thinks he had monsters chasing him, until Grover shows up at his door, and reveals who he is. Grover told him that he is the satyr portrayed as teenager since satyrs age half as fast as humans, and he has responsibility to protect Percy. That’s why when Percy was going to home, Grover persuade Percy to come with him for his good. On the trip Percy saw the three old ladies with the yarn. But, Percy was left Grover when they reach the bus terminal, he think something was going to make some stupid games about him.

His Mother, Sally Jackson is a kind women who never had any luck in life. She dreams of being a writer, but works at a candy shop to make ends and she has going to married with Gabe Ugliano, a manager at the Electronics Mega-Mart in Queens, but he stayed home most of the time. Percy is really loved his mother, and he think that his Mom should not to marry Smelly Gabe (Percy’s nicked-name him). Percy was very angry and admit his father about left them, then they should stuck their life with Gabe. Sally’s was marry him is because to hiding Percy from the monster who looking for Percy.

When Percy meets Sally, Sally was tell him they will go to the beach. In Montauk beach, she told Percy, she want to send him away, with the reasons Percy could be safe. It could be mistake if she’s still want Percy to keep him close with her, she did not have choice except to send Percy in a Summer Camp. She think it must be good for Percy. At the night, Grover comes to tell them to leave immediately.

A terrible storm rages as they drive to the New York countryside and they are attacked by a Minotaur. In the ensuing fight, the Minotaur takes Sally in a blinding flash of gold light till she was disappears. Enraged, Percy takes one of its horns and kills the Minotaur, passing out from exhaustion shortly afterwards.

He wakes up two days later, healed by nectar and ambrosia, at Camp Half-Blood. Grover reveals himself to be a satyr, and Mr. Brunner to be Chiron the centaur. Grover come to see him, when he woke up. The sadness thing is when he assumed that his mom is died because the battle. It turns out that Percy is a half-blood, the son of a Greek god, and there really are monsters after him, trying to kill him. The safest place is at Camp Half-Blood, a summer camp on Long Island for the children of the gods, so his mother drives Percy and Grover there.

As Percy's divine parent is unknown, he is placed in the Hermes cabin, where all the unclaimed half-bloods stays. In spite of his confusion at the turn of events, Percy enjoys what camp has to offer (races, sword fighting, epic capture the flag games) makes some new friends at camp He meets Luke, a son of Hermes; Annabeth Chase, a daughter of Athena; and Clarisse La Rue, a daughter of Ares. It feels him better, although he still on mourned.

At camp, Percy learns more about Greek Gods and his father is Poseidon, god of the Sea and brother to Zeus and Hades. Olympus, the home of the Gods are moves with the heart of the civilization, and now hovers invisibly over the Empire State Building, since America is currently the great power of the west. Percy is also learn that Gods still have children with mortals, and that  monster naturally seek out these young demigods.

Percy has been know about the conflict in Olympus. Somebody has stolen Zeus’s Bolt, and the three God mayor is blame for the losing the Zeus’s lightning. Zeus has accused Poseidon, and Zeus thought Poseidon has used Percy to steal the bolt in a plot to overthrow Zeus. And he told Poseidon that the master bolt must be returned to Mount Olympus by the summer solstice; only ten days before he will declare war on Poseidon.

Poseidon is miffed that his brother would accuse him of such a thing. However, he need Percy’s help to find out what really happened to the bolt. Chiron has believes that Hades been stole the Zeus’s bolt. Chiron tells Percy that he should to make a trip to the entrance of the underworld in Los Angeles (by land, since Zeus would blast him out of the sky if he tried to fly) confront Hades, and return the master bolt to Olympus before the solstice passes in order to prevent a war between the gods.

Soon, before Percy was leaving the camp, he came to the Oracle to consult. He was warned that he will fail to save what matters most in the end, and will be betrayed by a friend. Deeply troubled, but believing that the quest to the underworld is the only way to see his mother again, Percy set out with his best friends, Annabeth and Grover. As best friend they need to help Percy too; although they should has to face a big challenge, a terrible force that is more powerful than the power of the Gods themselves.

After defeating several mythological monsters, including Medusa, Echidna, and the Chimera, Percy, Annabeth and Grover find Hades, who has taken Sally but had his Helm of Darkness (his symbol of power) stolen too. Hades also accuses Percy of stealing his helm and threatens to kill Percy and his mother and release all the dead back into the real world. Percy and his friends use magical pearls to transport themselves out of Hades' kingdom. After discovering that Ares has all the stolen items, Percy challenges him to a duel and wins, to his own surprise. When Percy presents the Helm to Hades, Hades realizes that Percy has not stolen it and returns Sally safely.

Then, they return back to the Olympus with the bolt in time to prevent a war. Percy was meets his father, for the first time. Poseidon seems distant and sad, but says he is really proud of Percy. He says he fears Percy has been born for a hero’s tragic fate. Poseidon tells Percy that his mother is back− returned as a peace offering by Hades− and that when Percy returns home, he will have to make an important choice. Percy rushes back to his family’s apartment, where he finds Medusa’s head waiting for him, a trophy he had forgotten mailing home earlier in his quest. He realizes he has the chance to petrify his stepfather and save his mother from a miserable marriage. His mother implores him to not do it, however. She must break away from Gabe herself. Percy respect her wishes, and thus breaks the mold of what the tragic hero might have done. The prophecy thus comes true in an unexpected way; Percy fails to save what matters most by allowing his mother to self herself.

When Percy’s going back to the Camp Half-Blood, Percy is betrayed by his friend Luke, son of Hermes who turns out to be the human hero whom Kronos used for the theft. Luke poisons Percy, and tells him before leaving that Kronos will rise and destroy the age of the Gods. Western Civilization is unraveling.

Percy recovers from poison with Chiron’s help and realizes his adventures are not yet over. He is a hero now and must fight the rise of the Titans.

Anyone who has ever felt the name of love. we are in this world because of the love of our parents, and the love of God to us of course. We also give life to feel the love of parents, friends, our couples, and our environment. When we fell in love, we will be smiling all day and everything will feel so wonderful.

Often, other languages use multiple words to express some of the different concepts that English relies mainly on "love" to encapsulate; one example is the plurality of Greek words for "love." Cultural differences in conceptualizing love thus make it doubly difficult to establish any universal definition.

A person can be said to love an object, principle, or goal if they value it greatly and are deeply committed to it. Similarly, compassionate outreach and volunteer workers' "love" of their cause may sometimes be born not of interpersonal love, but impersonal love coupled with altruism and strong spiritual or political convictions People can also "love" material objects, animals, or activities if they invest themselves in bonding or otherwise identifying with those things. If sexual passion is also involved, this condition is calledparaphilia.

Interpersonal love refers to love between human beings. It is a more potent sentiment than a simple liking for another. Unrequited love refers to those feelings of love that are not reciprocated. Interpersonal love is most closely associated with interpersonal relationships^. Such love might exist between family members, friends, and couples. B.J. Habibie.

I want to explain about my best inspiration ever! He is B.J Habibie, he was born on 25 june 1937 in Parepare, South Sulawesi Province. His parents Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie and R. A. Tuti Marini Puspowardojo.

Habibie continued his studies in Jakarta and then in 1955 moved to Germany. In 1960, Habibie received a degree in engineering in Germany, giving him the title Diplom-Ingenieur. He remained in Germany as a research assistant under Hans Ebner at the Lehrstuhl und Institut für Leichtbau, RWTH Aachen to conduct research for his doctoral degree.

In 1962, Habibie returned to Indonesia for three months on sick leave. During this time, he was reacquainted with Hasri Ainun, the daughter of R. Mohamad Besari. Habibie had known Hasri Ainun in childhood, junior high school and in senior high school at SMA-Kristen, Bandung. The two married on 12 May 1962, returning to Germany shortly afterwards.Habibie and his wife settled in Aachen for a short period before moving to Oberforstbach. In May 1963 they had a son, Ilham Akbar Habibie.

When Habibie's minimum wage salary forced him into part-time work, he found employment with the automotive marque Talbot, where he became an adviser. Habibie worked on two projects which received funding from Deutsche Bundesbahn.

In 1965, Habibie delivered his thesis in aerospace engineering and received the grade of "very good" for his dissertation, giving him the title Doktor der Ingenieurwissenschaften. During the same year, he accepted Hans Ebner's offer to continue his research on Thermoelastisitas and work toward his Habilitation, but he declined the offer to join RWTH as a professor per se. His thesis about light construction for supersonic or hypersonic states also attracted offers of employment from companies such as Boeing and Airbus, which Habibie again declined.

In 1974, Suharto recruited Habibie to return to Indonesia as part of Suharto's drive to industrialize and develop the country. Habibie initially served as a secial assistant to Ibnu Sutowo, the CEO of state oil company Pertamina. Two years later, in 1976, Habibie was made Chief Executive Officer of the new state-owned enterprise Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (IPTN).(In 1985, PT. Nurtanio changed its name to Indonesian Aviation Industry and is now known as Indonesian Aerospace Inc. (Dirgantara)). In 1978, he was appointed as Minister of Resesarch and Technology. He continued to play an important role in IPTN other "strategic" industries in this post. By the 1980s, IPTN had grown considerably, specializing in the manufacture of helicopters and small passenger planes; by 1991, Habibie oversaw ten state-owned industries including ship- and train-building, steel, arms, communications, and energy. A 1993 estimate determined that the estimates used nearly $2 billion a year in state funding, although the government's opaque accounting practices meant that the size of the industries was not completely known. Habibie became a pilot, assisted in his training by A.B. Wolff, former chief of staff of the Dutch Air Force. In 1995, he flew an N-250 (dubbed GatotKoco) commuter plane.

In developing Indonesia's aviation industry, he adopted an approach called "Begin at the End and End at the Beginning". In this method, elements such as basic research became the last things upon which to focus, whilst actual manufacturing of the planes was placed as the first objective. Under Habibie's leadership, IPTN became a manufacturer of aircraft including Puma helicopters and Cassa planes. It pioneered a small passenger airplane, the N-250 Gatokaca, in 1995, but the project was a commercial failure.

These are just some of the charismatic BJ Habibie, who I admire greatly, knows how to explain it. composure, his principles, decisiveness, and his love of Indonesia and his family, as well as discretion. Conflict in Ambon.

In 1950 Ambon was the center of an uprising against Indonesian rule, caused by the rebellion of Republic of the South Moluccas. Indonesia reasserted control just in few weeks.

In April and May 1958 during the Permesta rebellion in North Sulawesi, the USA supported and supplied the rebels. Pilots from a Taiwan-based CIA front organisation, Civil Air Transport, flying CIA B-26 Invader aircraft, repeatedly bombed and machine-gunned targets in and around Ambon. On 27 April a CIA raid set fire to a military command post, a fuel dump and a Royal Dutch Shell complex. The attack on Shell was deliberate: the CIA had orders to hit foreign commercial interests in order to drive foreign trade away from Indonesia and undermine its economy. The next day, the same CIA pilot bombed Shell interests at Balikpapan in East Kalimantan on Borneo, which persuaded Shell to suspend tanker services from there.

On 28 April a CIA air raid damaged an Indonesian Army barracks next to a marketplace. On 30 April a CIA air raid hit the airstrip. On 7 May a CIA air raid attacked Ambon airstrip, seriously damaging a Douglas C-47 Sky train and an Indonesian Air Force North American P-51 Mustang and setting fire to a number of fuel drums. On 8 May a CIA B-26 tried to bomb an Indonesian Navy gunboat in Ambon harbour. Its bomb missed but it then machine-gunned the boat, wounding two crew. The Indonesian National Armed Forces reinforced Ambon City's anti-aircraft defences with a number of 12.7 mm (0.5 in) machine guns. On 9 May a CIA B-26 attacked the city again. The machine-gunners returned fire and an Indonesian Air Force P-51 Mustang chased the B-26, but it escaped.

On 15 May a CIA B-26 attacked a small ship, the Naiko, in Ambon Bay. Naiko was merchant ship that the Indonesian Government had pressed into military service, and she was bringing a company of Ambonese troops home from East Java. A CIA bomb hit the Naiko's engine room, killing one crew member and 16 infantrymen and setting the ship on fire. The B-26 then attacked Ambon city, aiming for the barracks. Its first bomb missed and exploded in a market-place next door. The next landed in the barracks compound but bounced and exploded near an ice factory. The B-26 in the May air raids was flown by a CAT pilot called Allen Pope. On 18 May Pope attacked Ambon again. First he raided the airstrip again, destroying the C-47 and P-51 that he had damaged on 7 May. Then he flew west of the city and tried to attack one of a pair of troop ships being escorted by the Indonesian Navy. Indonesian forces shot down the B-26 but Pope and his Indonesian radio operator survived and were captured. Pope's capture immediately exposed the level of CIA support for the Permesta rebellion. Embarrassed, theEisenhower administration quickly ended CIA support for Permesta and withdrew its agents and remaining aircraft from the conflict.

As part of the transmigration program in the 1980s, the Suharto government relocated many migrants, most of them Muslim, from densely overpopulated Java.

Between 1999 and 2002, Ambon was at the centre of sectarian conflict across the Maluku Islands. There was further religious violence in 2011.

From 1999 until mid-2002, Ambon was ripped apart by Christian-Muslim intercommunal violence. In Kota Ambon the first wave of attacks came in January 1999 with a largely Christian mob assault on the city’s main markets. A July 1999 reprisal torched predominantly Chinese businesses in the city centre. Island and city alike became polarised into Muslim and Christian zones. By late 2001, battered Kota Ambon looked like 1980s Beirut. During 2002 things improved markedly and the last significant disturbances were riots in 2004, though occasional provocations continue, including occasional sniping between police and army forces. Some burnt-out ruins remain, notably around Pattimura University in Rumah Tiga, but these are rapidly being rebuilt or swallowed by insatiable tropical weeds. By 2006 the island seemed gripped with a great optimism and visible economic resurgence. It’s as though everyone suddenly awoke from a bad dream to find themselves back in their busy little south-sea paradise.
